LHS CHOIR STUDENT AWARDED THE CRE8SIAN PROJECT SCHOLARSHIP

PRESS RELEASE October 23, 2020 LHS CHOIR STUDENT AWARDED THE CRE8SIAN PROJECT SCHOLARSHIP Congratulations to Liberty High School Choir Student Ella Mariano for being awarded a scholarship from the Cre8sian Project. She will receive $500, Cre8sian Project swag, a feature in the Amazing Asians in the Arts blog, performer headshots from Levi Walker Studios, a copy of the book “In Her Purpose,” and a 45 minute Career and Purpose Checkup Session from female Asian entrepreneur team Jennifer Redondo-Marquez and Rose Buado! Ella is a Junior at Liberty High School and a 3-year member of the LHS Choir Department. Currently, she is a member of the Choir Chamber Choir and the Show Choir. Ella has been singing since she was 4 years old and became very involved in choir/ singing starting in elementary school, getting solos, and doing her first talent show in 2014. She is a proud CCSD student having attended Gehring Elementary and Silvestri Junior High School. Recently, Ella created her own YouTube Channel - “Creative Singer” where she has a big following of her Vocal Covers and Original Music. She also serves as Historian for the Gawad Kalinga Club, a service organization that fundraises for various charities and community projects. Empowering Asian Women The Cre8sian Project was born from an idea to create characters who represented strong qualities in women. Determination, Concentration, Motivation, and Education are all important virtues that lead to success, so these characters were created to embody our strengths, open and unashamed. Empowering Asian women in the arts & beyond!
